Nutrition education and school day cooking classes for students.
Schools or other organizations may choose to bring us in for nutrition education on resource days, in-school field trips and more.
We typically rotate through all the kids in the school - teaching three classes to four classes of the specified grade per week on the chosen day up to 24 children.
Each child has a chance to participate in a part of the recipe. As they wait their turn, the Culinary Educator reviews the nutrition education curriculum based on the USDA My Plate and Harvard Medical's Healthy Plate. We've had GREAT success with our daytime classes and would love to bring them to your school.
Our focus for the kids is LEARN to cook LOVE your veggies.
